Irina A. Lubensky, M.D.

Dr. Lubensky received her M.D. degree from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA and is Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology. She completed her Pathology residency and Surgical Pathology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining CDP she served as Surgical Pathologist and Chief of the Hereditary Cancer Syndrome Unit at NIH’s Laboratory of Pathology and as a translational researcher at the Surgical Neurology Branch, NINDS, NIH. As PIRB Chief, Dr. Lubensky oversees NCI multi-institutional cooperative agreement grants for biospecimen banking to support cancer research including Cooperative Human Tissue Network (CHTN) and NCI Clinical Trials Network Biospecimen Banks (NCTN Banks), as well as the NCI Specimen Resource Locator.
