Joanne Demchok, M.S.

Program Director

Joanne earned her Masters of Science through the University of Maryland at Baltimore, concentrating on biomedical research. Previous to joining CDP, she worked at NCI’s Pediatric Oncology Branch where she focused on developing experimental assays to implement new strategies for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of fungal infections in immunocompromised and cancer patients. Currently, she serves as Program Director managing the Cooperative Human Tissue Network (CHTN) grants and The Specimen Resource Locator (SRL). She also serves as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on numerous NCI contracts.
