Asif Rizwan, Ph.D., serves as Program Director at the Diagnostic Biomarkers and Technology Branch (DBTB), where he leverages his rich background in biomedical engineering, biophysics, and system biology to pioneer the development of innovative diagnostic technologies and biomarkers. With degrees from Cornell University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the University of Texas at Arlington, and the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Rizwan has made substantial contributions to biomedical research, including impactful work at Johns Hopkins Medicine, the Department of Defense's CDMRP, and the NHLBI.
At DBTB, Dr. Rizwan drives efforts to integrate cutting-edge cancer biology insights into the creation of novel diagnostic tools, technologies, and strategies. He plays a crucial role in advancing research that utilizes high-dimensional data analysis for improving cancer diagnostics, prognostics, and prediction.
